Eileen Wingard and Myla Wingard, accompanied by Monique Kunewalder

Eileen and Myla Wingard, the mother/daughter classical music duo bring so much heritage, violin, symphony orchestra and music education to the salon. Eileen at the age of 96 still performs and presents talks about the violin and the performers she has played with over her career.

Eileen performed with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra for many years and accompanied well-known concert soloists like pianists Van Cliburn, Vladimir Horowitz, and Arthur Rubinstein and violinists like Yehudi Menuhin, Isaac Stern, Itchak Perlman, Pinchas Zuckerman and Henryk Szerynk.

Eileen and Myla will perform the Vivaldi Concerto in A minor for two violins and will be accompanied by Monique Kunewalder on piano.

Monique is an accomplished pianist and accompanist who also hosts an acclaimed classical piano music salon called Solana Salons at her residence in Solana Beach, California.
